Women Rights are Human Rights

Today I am celebrating women; they have done business, explored, revolted and invented. The game changers, the innovator, the women leaders constantly leading the charge for change for a better future.

We are crucial about making changes from the roots, breaking biases and stereotypes and giving opportunities to everyone especially the under-represented. Every individual plays an important role in creating a more inclusive society.

Bias is all around us. We face it in our own lives.Millions of bits of information are thrown at us everyday, our brain consciously or otherwise processes it by first categorizing it into patterns -Gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background, outfits, profession, abilities, sexuality- we are stereotyping people all the time. It’s time to stop and reflect on our hidden prejudices and how they show up in our actions, examine our biases and break them.

For me,

I am beautiful and I understand my worth. I believe I could and I did. There is no limitation in my existence. My voice becomes a path in the future and I’m empowered to go beyond the lines to defile all odds.

Happy International Women’s Day, lets #breakthebias
